I have blogged in multiples of two this week. 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th. Partly due to work, partly due to sleep, partly due to laziness. Not equal parts.
I appear to be going by each day in a daze. Occurences of sleep-talking have increased exponentially (oh dear). It takes me more than a short while to recall past events, even if they were just yesterdays. And I’ve simply been in lalalaland.
Yesterday was like any other day. Just more draining, more trying, and certainly, more painful.
Today was not like any other day. It was a lot more relaxed, a lot more slack, a lot more useless (hmmm, subjective here). There was the LSY Speaker of the Year Award which saw a few strange speeches, flexible hip rotations, stiff robotic contrived gestures, high pitched voices, thick accent and some good speeches. Preceding that was an essentially uselessly inaccurate chem prac which I honestly do not get. Nucleophilic? HUH? Well, and after that was just a nice break, more break, and random PC lesson, no chinese (ooh la la! but there’s work
) and mad rush for IFD banner/poster (not mine).
Useless day honestly. But I did manage to catch up on a few things, talk a bit more nonsense, release a little more stress and simply bask in the freeness of the day before sinking back into the reality of all the work, deadlines and expectations. And it all starts caving in.
Chinese Prelims have been moved to Tuesday and Wednesday. More time to study, yes. But there’s just so much practice to be done. No.No.No.No.
Right now, I shall have to do 1.5 comparative essays and attempt to really read the notes which I haven’t done so for the longest time.
I’m really tired
I also need to not fall asleep praying.
Looking on the bright side of life, I am pretty happy with some things
