I just typed “fools” in the search bar since that resembles me to a large extent recently. And found some Top 100 April Fool’s Day  Hoaxes of All Time, which reminded me of the LSY speech on April the First.

I also arrived at the above song when I typed “fools rush in”. I was more expecting Elvis Presley or the like. But I guess there are too many songs and even a movie titled “fools rush in”. Wise men say, only fools rush in. But I can’t help falling in love with you. That is kind of in this song as well. Hmmm.

But I guess if we’re fools for Christ in man’s eyes, it isn’t so bad a thing. There are too many times nonetheless when I feel like a foolish follower of the world and of my own expectations and desires. That’s when I kick myself in the face and realise anew that I am but a pilgrim on this narrow road.

And a fool in many other ways too. Sometimes I really don’t mind being one. So long it makes people I love happy. Just maybe, that’s a folly in itself.
