reminiscence
I was looking at this photo of my old school hall, the piano, the stairs, the wooden polished floor… And all these memories just came flooding back. It was just yesterday when RJ was telling me yet again, “I MISS PL!” I find it strange that I’ve been so busy as of late, I haven’t had much time to properly *think*. And when she said that with the added effect of these photos I’ve been looking through, I realised that I really, really miss PL!
The days when school was just 10 minutes away. The days when I could *walk* to school without a problem at all. The days when we giggled and giggled like silly little girls. The days when males were a scarcity. Really, the only members of the opposite gender existed in the few male teachers and a few custodians. Hmmm. There is more of the holding school which I remember of then the original location. Logically since I spent the last 2 years of my secondary school life at this strange old building. But it was good there, memorable days. The three basketball courts side by side and the metal roofs we had for the buildings. The short buildings in fact.
The devotions we had were not very different from what we have now in ACS. But we sang short songs in the morning
With guitar accompaniments. And we were all seated down. We had cool Monday assemblies too. But because the hall couldn’t accommodate us all without spilling out, the air-con couldn’t be switched on. Of course, we didn’t have nice comfy seats in the hall.
Suddenly, I miss PL so much
Ahhhhhhh ):
